Pointe & Pre-Pointe

Pointe & Pre-Pointe

Pre-Pointe is for students in Junior Company/Level 2-3 and Higher.

*Pointe technique has been included in our ballet technique classes.  Pointe dancers should register for 2 graded technique ballet classes.

*Pre-Pointe dancers must enroll in two  leveled ballet technique classes.  There is not a separate class, just two seperate ballet classes beginning at Level 3 ballet.

*Dancers are not required to dance en pointe to take ballet technique.

Pointe Placement

Most dancers spend an average of 1-2 years in pre-pointe training technique.

For safety reasons, enrollment in this class does not guarantee earning pointe shoes. Not all students’ feet are naturally adept to dancing en pointe, and it is therefore not safe for all students. Instructors determine pointe placement.

Pre-Professional Ballet Technique

An intermediate/advanced level technique class for our ballet

pathway students.  Students will take an additional ballet class each week.

Pre-Pro Class for 24 - 25 will be held Saturdays from 9:00 - 10:00 September through December only.
